What's great about it: everything if it worked right
What's not so great: the lag problem
If there was an option to give it no stars I would.
Shorter version
This computer gave me problems with in the first few weeks. (I did not drop my computer or install any viruses) It would just have random lag spikes that lasted up to 30 minutes. Makinig the computer unusable. All you could do is stare at it until it decided to not be super slow and act just fine. My compaq at 4 years old was performing better than is $800 computer. Also when you put it into sleep mode it uses the battery. So 4 hours later you open it up and the battery is dead.
Long version (more details)
The “lag spike” is like something I have never seen in a computer. Not a new one anyway... It acts like a 8 year old laptop with vista on it. Slow and practically inoperable. Now this could just be during startup or when you open your laptop when it has been in sleep mode. I contacted HP about it, they did not want to fix it since I had no warranty on it. I had not dropped this laptop or anything out of the norm. This lag costed me money and time, especially if you are trying to take notes at a meeting. By the time it wants to work you have missed half the information. HP support re-installed some drivers but that did not help after they claimed it would fix the problem.
Mouse pad / mouse
Mouse pad decides when it does not want you to use multi touch features. Also the mouse pad just stops working altogether. You can touch the screen to move your cursor then it starts working again.
detaching tablet from keyboard
When you perform the separation of the tablet and keyboard am HP support window pops up. It says: WARNING unsafe disconnect. Please tell me how to safely disconnect then!!!! This could result in lost data or kick it into lag mode where it takes the laptop 5 minutes to figure out that you disconnected the tablet.
Overall very upset with HP for not understanding my situation with my computer and having to pay more money just to get it working as it should've been in the first place. My laptop might be one of those 1 and a 100,000,000 that don’t work right. Wish HP was just more understanding that average people are not made of money to replace a laptop that should work normally when first opened.
This product is... poor sound quality, not good, laggy / slow, mouse pad not very good

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does the tablet support 128gig micro sd cards?

No it has 2 USB ports and a regular SD card port. You could buy a SD card that has the micro converter tho. I would not recommend buying this laptop btw.
