What's great about it: compact size, usb 3.0 for fast transfers
What's not so great: none that I could find
I use this portable hard drive to back-up/transfer data at home and work. I am amazed with USB 3.0 and the difference and time saved on moving larger files or large quantity of files compared to USB 2.0. Just as a reminder you need to have a computer that has USB 3.0 port(s) to take advantage of the faster transfer rates. If you don't have USB 3.0 it's time you get a computer that has it! (especially if you do a lot of data transferring)

Can you backup OS files and two computers with different Windows OS.

I have a desktop running Windows 8.1 and a laptop running Windows 7. Will this drive backup the system files as well as my personal data on both computers and how does it differentiate between the two computers? Can I use this drive to transfer files between the two computers?
As long as both computers have a working USB port you can use the hard drive to back up data on both computers no problem. Both computers are PCs and windows based so you do not have to worry about operating system incompatibility. Buy this product with confidence!
