I have Bose 301 series 1 speakers. They weigh 16 lbs each. Will this mount hold them?

I think I would look for more substantial mounting system for your speakers.

can you run the speaker wire through the mount to hide the wire?

no, mount bolts to rear of speaker and wiring is external to mount.
