How can I tell if the hard drive comes with its own power supply?

I want to use it with Dish satellite Tailgater
It does not have a power supply it is powered through the USB cable

Can I use with more than one hard drive?

I have a desktop with Windows Vista 32-bit and a laptop with Windows 7. Can I use this to backup both the desktop and the laptop?
You shouldn't have any issues on a windows PC using it on both.
