 4-Port HDMI Switch - Black
4-Port HDMI Switch - Black
Only @ Best BuyEasily switch between up to 4 HDMI source components with this HDMI switch that supports 1080p and 3D video for high-definition entertainment and 7.1 surround sound for impressive audio.

Connecting the switch

Can I use this switch to hook up a HDPVR (only 1 HDMI conn) Satelitte Receiver to
my 4yr old TV and
my Denom DVD am/FM receiver
so that I can use the Denom speakers
Not a professional. That will not work. You need to hook up you Receiver directly to your TV. Then you need to connect the switcher to your TV. Then the Satelitte Receiver to your Switcher, along with all of your other devices

Connecting my HMDI video through Rocketfish swicther changes the aspect ratio.

Connected my xbox 360 output and my Samsung blu ray dvd separately through the switcher and the output is pillarboxed. Can this be fixed?
Not all XBox 360 games are in 1080p let alone 16:9, the flat screen aspect ratio. So when your display settings look great for your Blu Ray but not for your XBox is could be that the game does support 16:9. If it is pillarboxing but also has a black top. It might be 16:9 but just not filling up the screen. This would indicate the TV display making the game display use just 720p, set the TVs Picture Display to "Zoom1" or "Automatic Fit" or "Fit to Screen." Automatic Adjustment between devices should happen and you should be able to get as much of the screen filled up by picture

Rocketfish™ - 6' In-Wall HDMI Cable - Multi

hdmi cables

1 line in tv that is hdmi /can i split the line connect 2 hdmi cables with a splitter in one port?

thank you danny
Not a professional. If it is a line-in it only receives, input. A spliter can take a cable receiving output information from a cable, duplicate the information and transfer it to two instead of one display/device. Ex. Two TVs. If you have only one or one free HDMI input but are trying to add more devices without having to unplug and replug devices, get an HDMI selector

Rocketfish™ - 12' In-Wall HDMI Cable - Multi
Enjoy stunning visuals on your HDTV or projector with this HDMI cable that features up to 15.0 Gbps bandwidth and supports signals up to 1080p.

are any of your in-wall cables fire rated?

we're mounting tv, etc. above a gas fireplace and concealing all the cables (HDMI, etc.) through that same wall above the fireplace. Are Rocketfish in-wall rated cables also fire-rated ?
Not a professional. Some Rocketfish HDMI Cables are in-wall grade. The cables listed as 15Mbps happen to be, but the thinner versions are not.
