What's great about it: Plenty of processor and great battery life
What's not so great: Lack of Google Wallet Tap to Pay support
This is a great phone and probably the first phone where I am totally happy with the software load to where I do not feel that it needs a replacement firmware. This is a power user's phone and definitely not the best choice for someone that wants one simple way of doing things. The 3GB of memory is a first in a phone form factor and even good for a tablet. The built in 32GB of storage is also unusual in a phone and matches most tablets. I added a 64GB MicroSD card to mine and it works great. Movies on this thing are flat out incredible. Also does HDMI 1080p out with an MHL USB adapter. This device has another first which is a USB 3 port. Don't worry though, you can still charge and data transfer with a USB 2.0 cable too. Pen Window is a super expanded option on the Note 3 and you can actually have 3 or 4 real seperate windows on the display visible at once. That's where the smart pen really shines. The handwriting recognition is cute but kind of lame to me. A plus of having such a large screen is that the on screen keyboard is awesome for someone with big hands. Another great plus is the camera is 13 megapixel and not only supports panaromic shots but the new google photosphere 360 degree pictures which put apple quicktime VR to shame.

Does the "gear" ,watch come with the phone? if not how much can i expect to pay for it

The Galaxy Gear is a separate Smart Watch and runs $350. Sony also has a smart watch and I think there may be at least 2 others.

Is Note iii (Sprint Plan) elig for $50 Gift Card deal?

The Best Buy Chat team told me yesterday "yes" Note III Sprint plan is eligible for $50 gift card currently in place, but I did not see this phone w/ Sprint listed in the online group of phones elig. Could you confirm or deny this please?
Yes it is and I got my $50 gift certificate a week after I got my phone.
