What's great about it: Size, speed, usefulness
What's not so great: Chrome and other third party apps not multi-window compatible yet
Fantastic Phone!
That statement sums up my thoughts on this phone so far. I paid full price in order to keep my unlimited plan with Verizon and therefore my hopes and expectations were set extremely high on this piece of technology. In short, I loved it so much that I ended up purchasing a Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition soon after.
The camera is spectacular especially with having such a large screen as your "viewfinder" if you will.
The built-in apps are great and cover a plethora of needs without even having to jump out to the Play Store.
The S Pen. Ummmm... oh yeah baby!! That feeling you got when getting your first Palm device that had cool pen functions; it was sort of nostalgic for me to first pull my S Pen out of the phone and have the phone automatically react with very useful features.
I have used the S Pen to do numerous things but I mostly find the S Note app the most useful. Coupled with the Scrap Book air command feature, grabbing images off the web, taking snaps of things on the fly, using previously snapped photos, and many more options, I'm actually taking notes how they should be taken. I also learned that you can use your Evernote account to sync the notes which is fantastic as well. I already have many notes on Evernote and this just makes the experience that much better.
I am a professional at my company but I don't really use my phone as often there as I do at home for taking notes in prep for a hobby even for instance. I recently bought the phone and I do also see how very useful it would be at work as well.
I highly recommend this phone to anyone who is a tech geek, office professional, or point-n-shoot photographer. I also would recommend anyone and everyone else out there to get rid of such small screens out there and enjoy the crisp beauty of the Galaxy Note 3.
I assure anyone out there who might be questioning this review that I am just a normal guy living a normal life (though most I know say I'm not normal really) and I am just very passionate about the direction this phone could potentially drive technology in the future. I feel like we all really do deep down want bigger screens that are also still portable enough to be feasibly used in every day living.
There are so many more things I could say but these days, people lose interest too quickly so I hope this is short enough and to the point that it will help others in their purchase decisions.
This product is... Replaced my MP3 player, Easy navigation, Replaced my camera, Good video quality, quintessential
About me... My phone is my life, Heavy apps user, Business Professional, Need phone to keep me organized, home user
I would recommend this to a friend!

Price difference between Best Buy and Verizon

Best Buy shows a replacement price of $799 where Verizon shows a replacement price of $699. Why the price difference and will you match this price?
I can answer this because I did a price comparison myself and provided proof to Best Buy for what Verizon's price offering was. I got my 32GB black Note 3 for $699 - same as what Verizon listed it as for full price.

when will verizon offer an incentive to upgrade to the new Samsung Galaxy note 3>

The incentive is there whether Verizon does something or not. Do you mean there is something you don't like about what Verizon has done to the Note 3 vs one or more other phones?

I can tell you that nothing that Verizon has put on this phone has annoyed me (other than the caller ID thing but that was very short lived).

The phone runs beautifully and is much more powerful than the Note 2 with more S Pen features and other Samsung goodies.
