I had the Yoga 900 but had to return it due to too many issues with the display driver constantly crashing. I bought this one instead and glad I did. It's very fast and the Nvidia graphics display is a definite step up from the built-in Intel HD graphics video on most all other PCs out there (including the Yoga 900). It runs super quiet. I rarely hear the fan run at all even when the processor is being stressed. The bottom does not get very hot like other laptops. I find it easy to carry around. It does collect fingerprints and smudges well.
The touch pad was a bit quirky in some applications when scrolling, especially in other web browsers like Firefox and Chrome. It would scroll super-fast and was uncontrollable. And I thought I was going to have to return this computer due to the glitchy touch pad. However, I just received a driver update to the Elan touchpad. Now scrolling is super smooth and silky. Touchpad size could be bigger but not that big of a concern in the end. I like the additional buttons and they have a very soft but deliberate feel when pressing them..
About the only downside so far is the weight. A lot of difference in weight between this and the Yoga 900 but I like the larger screen size this laptop offers. The Yoga 900 is a beautiful machine but I'm liking this one a lot better!
Battery life seems about average. I don't think you ever get what manufacturers advertise.
Overall, I've been completely satisfied. If you have not run the settings update lately, I highly recommend to get the latest drivers for the touchpad and Nividia graphics.

What's great about it: Display, light weight portability
Wow! What a great laptop. Battery life is 6 hours plus on low display. Very light weight for a 15" laptop. Most 15" laptops are at least a pound heavier. Super quiet! Can't hear the hard drive running or the fan! I like it, a lot!! And the bottom surface area doesn't get hot like others, nor the top surface area either. The lighted keyboard is great and usually hard to find on a laptop in this price range. I have found it be very fast. It boots almost as fast as some laptops I have with solid state drives. The display is definitely high definition and usually hard to find for this price. An IPS panel would have been nice but impossible to do at this price. I like the aluminum surface finish. The track pad is very responsive and scrolls through web pages with a silky smooth gesture. I highly recommend this laptop to any one looking for a 15" screen.

What's great about it: High resolution screen is unbelieveable; lightweight size.
What's not so great: Textured palmrest is a dust/dirt magnet. Can't upgrade memory.
This is a totally awesome ultrabook! The screen is one of its best features. Talk about Retina display in a laptop, this one's it. It's also very bright with vivid true life colors. The i5 processor barely sips battery power. The physical footprint is slightly smaller than its predecessor Yoga, which I also previously owned. I like the more curved base and the flip screen is totally useful.
The only downside is the internal memory cannot be upgraded as it is soldered onto the main board. And there's no second SSD slot to add a second SSD drive like the original Yoga. But did I mention the screen is totally awesome!! You won't be disappointed. You'll have to watch out for the palmrest attracting dust/lint as the textured surface does an excellent job of grabbing lint.
I compared this to the HP Spectre 13.3, which has a more elegant, polished surface, but this display outdoes the HP.

What's great about it: Lighted Keyboard, flip screen
What's not so great: Slower than some others I've used
This is the perfect size. Not the lightest weight one around, but lighter than most. Screen resolution, color and brightness are at the top of its features. It has a "vivid" setting to really make the screen colors jump out. The way the keys light up are just the right brightness, not overpowering like some lighted keyboards. The screen flip is a great addition, especially if you're watching a movie and can flip the screen so only the screen is showing. The keyboard has short key strokes so you can lightly type the keys and get good consistent results. I rank the keyboard higher than most laptops. The keyboard is not spongy nor does it bounce up and down like some. The fan does run at inconsistent speeds, sometimes louder than other times, and sometimes not at all.
I think the processing speed is a little lower than some. Boot time seems slower too. The speaker sound is far better than most I've used with rich sounds.
I felt like the touchpad was more responsive and easier to use than most laptops I've owned.
All in all, I do not regret my purchase. The 14 inch screen size is just right, not too small and not too big, thereby not making the laptop too heavy. I would recommend this over others.

What's great about it: Beautiful bright IPS screen, lightweight, size
What's not so great: Not the fastest one around
This is a great little laptop. Has the power and flexibility of a Windows 8 operating system. This one has the latest Haswell processor so battery life has been 6+ hours for me. I love the reversible hinge allowing the laptop to be used like a tablet or sit in a tent position and used as a tablet. The IPS screen is very bright and viewable from a wider range of angles unlike traditional laptops. Weight could be a few ounces less but it's still lightweight. I carry it with me everywhere. Keys are spaced just right to make typing effortless. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a convenient lightweight ultrabook that can work like a tablet.

Does this have a fingerprint reader?
Some said this is exactly the same as the Thinkpad Yoga 460 except for the name. I understand that the Yoga 460 has a fingerprint reader. Does this one come with that as well?
This particular model does not have a fingerprint reader.

3rd gen vs. 4th gen?
Can you tell me the battery life of each of these versions. I have been looking at the Lenovo Yoga and now that you have brought out the 4th gen, I am a little unsure which to get.
I have this latest Yoga (4th gen Haswell processor). I'm getting 6+ hours of battery life between charges.
