I had an LG Tone Ultra Headset and I exchanged it for this one and I figured since it was Samsung that it would be more than what I expected.
It doesn't have any voice prompts that tells you when the battery is low or if you're too far from the phone, battery status and also you cant hear text messages.
If you don't have the left side in your ear, no one can hear you clearly on the other end.
The 3 different sizes of the neck strap are uncomfortable.
You cant rewind a song or even replay a previous track. it only allows you to go forward.
The only advantage is that the volume is really loud when playing movies or music. I gotta say i'm a bit disappointed in Samsung for this one. So I'm going back to the LG Tone + Headset.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Sound Quality, comfortability, and its worth the money
What's not so great: honestly nothing in my opinion
At first I was a bit skeptical for paying so much for a pair of headphones but after having the dre beats (the tour edition), those had great sound as well but if youre the athletic type like me or you just sweat a lot in general they would constanly fall out of my ear whereas with these I don't have that issue, the silicone plugs that they come with fit perfectly and stay in with ease. definitely the best piece of accessory ive ever bought for IPhone 5.

Can the MIE2i be used in a computer?
yes but obviously the volume controls and the answer/end call functions will not work.

Is this model MIE2i compatible with the new HTC 8X Windows phone....and do the controls function properly?

I have the new Verizon HTC 8x Windows phone.....looking for a headset to use with this and wanted to know if the Bose MIE2i is compatible and if the controls on the headset will function properly....
Yes but not the MIE2i model, you need the regular one which is the MIE2
