What's great about it: Great price, easy set up
What's not so great: Design isn't appealing
Bought this soundbar for my dad because it was in my price range. At the store it sounded fine but you can't really tell in the store so I was a bit nervous when taking it to him. However, after setting it up I was happy to see it provided pretty great sound overall given it's one of the lower end soundbars. Watching movies with the soundbar is definitely where you get the full effect of what kind of sound the bar can produce and it's got a decent amount of power. Only thing I don't particularly like about it is the design which makes it look a little cheap but other than that no gripes from me or my dad.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Great sound
Bought this soundbar for my new apartment and it has worked out very well. It's a somewhat smaller soundbar but still is able to put out a great sound. The design on it is quite sleek and has an easy set up to get everything going. Love the smart volume feature on this and all Samsung soundbars, which when turned on will equalize the dialogue with any background noise so you can still hear the dialogue without the background noise overpowering it. Definitely would recommend this soundbar.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What is the difference between the 65" curved 8700 and the 9000?
The 9000 has a higher clear motion rate, 1440 versus 1320 on the 8700. The 9000 also has features called Pur Color and Auto Depth Enhancer. The Pur Color gives the TV a better color representation where the Depth Enhancer gives every image a new depth sort of like 3D without wearing the glasses. On the 9000 their is also a built in camera and it comes with Samsung's One Connect Box for all of it's connections.

Soundbar mounting?
I have a 46 inch Samsung smart TV. I am using the pedestal stand. set on a TV stand. Does the sound bar attach to bottom of TV or how does it attach? Have seen this bar attached to larger sets with wall mount bracket. Please advise Thank you.
You can't attach the bar to the TV. You can mount it beneath the TV or above it if you have your TV mounted on the wall but there is no way to actually attach it to the TV.

Speaker Expansion
Is this system capable of adding additional Bluetooth speakers to the entertainment system? If not, can you recommend a sound bar/sub woofer combo that would be able to add speakers to a given system?
The only soundbar I'm aware of that you can add speakers to is the Sonos soundbar. But you can only add other Sonos speakers to it. Haven't seen any other soundbars that you can connect other speakers to.
