good unit on the highway. really liked it, except for the following: your saved list of destinations can not be put in alphabetic order.scrolling through a huge list of destinations is ridiculous! While the unit performed great on the highway, it was a disaster once I got to new york city! it recalculated the route every 30 seconds and had no idea where i was. returned the unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Big bright display,Quite fan,Runs very cool. Backlit keyboard,
What's not so great: Windows 8, AC connector should fit tighter.
Had this for a few weeks and I am pleased with my choice. Runs fast, quite and cool. Big HD touchscreen and back lit keyboard make it easy to use. Huge hard drive and fast processor. Have had no trouble staying connected to wireless routers. My internal microphone was not working. Geek squad diagnosed problem in 5 minutes. Bad sound driver. Reinstalled it and problem fixed! Be prepared to spend a day installing BOTH the Microsoft and HP updates!
Windows 8 takes some getting used to. Using classic shell program has made it much easier. Installing some problem programs as administrator or in compatibility mode has helped.
This product is... Good sound quality, Big screen size, easy to set up, lightning fast

What is the difference between Model 17-j130us and Model M7-j120dx?

Other than 12GB vs 8GB, what is the difference between Model 17-j130us and Model M7-j120dx? The 17-j130us is $100 cheaper and has 4GB more memory and the M7-j120dx has voice recognition software. Other than that, how do they compare?
130us has a 1600 x 900 screen
120dx has a 1920 x 1080 screen
