How many Channels do you receive?

How many free channels will my HD T.V. receive?
That depends on where you live and how good your antenna is and how unobstructed your antenna is. A big city, or a town outside a big city will have access to several free channels. If you live between two cities that have broad cast stations, you might want to consider putting your antenna on a pole with a motor that rotates it point to say, Orlando for some channels or Tampa for other channels.

Will this converter work on new and old Tvs?

I don't think you need this on a new TV. A new TV already has a correct input for the source signal, so you wouldn't need to buy this converter box.
