I love this product! I am a college student but was also looking for something fun, but compact. I had an old netbook I had been using prior and it was just too slow. I could see how this product would not be perfect for some individuals, but it depends on what your looking for. The ease of use and accessibility are outstanding. I will admit, I do not really care for Windows 8, but for a tablet it is somewhat more appropriate than a regular computer. I have downloaded PC games and they play beautifully, but the tablet does get a little warm. Google Chrome needs a little work, but I am sure they will work out all the kinks soon enough. Overall, I am in love with this product and look forward to all that I will be able to accomplish with it!
This product is... responsive touch screen, lightning fast, A nice compact size, Sharp graphics, Great screen size

sd slot...

Is the card slot a micro SD slot or can I put the SD card from my camera in? I can't tell from the photo gallery.
It is a micro SD slot..but a lot of cameras come with a cord to connect from your camera to a computer via a usb port, which the Surface Pro 2 also has..maybe you could use that instead?
