Bakes pizzas great. Can toast as well, but need to adjust time for starting from cold oven to starting from warm oven. Wish could use microwave and oven at same time. Need to find that sweet spot to be able to push microwave door open every time with ease.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My current need is for a 1.1 or 1.2 cf microwave BUT the light MUST remain ON when I open the door. Is this true for all LG mw's of this size?

The LG model I inquired about is too high (15.5")
Light remains on when door is open and is cooking. When time is completed and timer goes off, Light turns off. When you open the door light turns on

Microwave oven light

So, the microwave oven light is not on during cooking (so you cannot see your food), but only comes on when you open the door?
Microwave oven light is on when you open the door and while it is cooking Light goes out when cooking time is completed. Goes on when door opens.

Can you use the oven drawer to make toast?

Yes. But need to test out time it will take for darkness you like. Also need to adjust shorter time if oven portion is warm as opposed from cold start
