Worked flawlessly out of the box. Set up is a snap. The sound quality for TV audio is very good. The sound quality from streaming music from my iPhone is also very good. Subwoofer has great, deep bass. For $240 I don't see how you could do better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Additional Hookups in addtion to TV.

I have a DVD player and a Cable DVR that I want to hookup to this sound bar. It seems the input are limited. How does the Cable DVR and DVD hookup to allow the sound bar to project the sound ? I'm not getting the concept. Do all components need to be hooked to the bar ? Right now everything it hooked to TV via HDMI and I just change the input on the TV.

I'm an older gent, and I appreciate any info you can provide. Not a real tech person. Thanks in advance...
You can leave your DVD player and DVR connected to your TV. You will only need to connect the soundbar to the audio output of your TV. Use the included optical cable. Very easy.

Does this sound bar need to be plugged into the wall for power or can it be plugged into the TV for power?

Are the speakers wireless or just the subwoofer?

The rear speakers are wired to the subwoofer. The subwoofer connects to the sound bar wirelessly.

Can someone tell me how long the speakers wires. I wanted to understand my option for locating the speakers.
