This is a very nice speaker. Many people rated it 1 star, but they did not know that you can upgrade the firmware version. Upgrading the problems go away. Everything now works fine with all apple gadgets and itunes.

wireless connection directly to IPHONE

can I stream directly from iphone to speaker via bluetooth (wireless technology) and not thru my wifi network? example....if I bring out of the wifi area, can I use it with iPhone and no cable attached from speaker to device? thanks
It only works with wifi. But you can plug the Iphone throught the cable or use the universal audio in.

does it work with ipad AIR
