What's great about it: Very good for the price
What's not so great: Company response, No place for softener,Weird noise when rinse
This is my review that I wrote on the company website. They refused to share it:
"We had it for 5 months now. I need to state first: I tried talking to customer service once. The operator was fast. The technicians took for ever and I had to hang up after 30 min. That is bad! We were about to buy the older model, but with the rebate on star energy from our Electricity company we bought it and came back at the same price. All the thanks to this is to the sales associates at BESTBUY where we bough it. I guess there training is great where they never forget an info to tell you and make shopping in their place a great experience.
One thing is that it make a weird noise when it's rinsing. I called the company and said it's normal so we didn't have to worry about it, but the sound is weird, like something is hardly moving.
Another thing: we still couldn't figure out where to add the softener. Each time we have to stop it at rinsing phase, put it and close it again. That is bad and if you turn it on and go out or to sleep have fun adding the softener, IF there is truly no other way."
Although I would recommend the product, i wouldn't recommend the company if they can't tolerate true reviews. The problem they didn't even offer an apology for note being able to speak with tech Dept.

washing machines ?

I see a lot of formulas to compute the cubic feet , but I'm not a math kind of girl. Do you have a chart? The tub on my washing machine measures 20" by 17". Are the high-efficiency machines as noisy as I have read on the web. And, what's up with the 'plates' vs adjators? I'm liking the LG's but I don't see how the plate thingie can turn the clothes as well. Thanks so much
i can say about the cubic feet thing: the easiest thing is to go and take a look. measurements are useless if you don't know what it means in reality. So don't make it hard on yourself. this machine is noisy. I don't know about others. As for the plate vs "the other thing", can you please explain what is that if your are still interested in getting a response on it? I didn't understand it, my English isn't that good. Thanks
