First I must say out of the box I'd rate this tablet 3 stars for a few reasons.
1)No Google Play store (which means no Google apps) and stuck with Amazon App Store.
2)Have to pay $15 to remove ad filled lockscreen

However I rooted the device within 30 minutes of owning it which A)installs Google Play services and B)removes the ad lockscreen. The tablet is now easily 5 stars. I wanted something to mainly read books, magazines and news on. This does those things great. I've also tested a few videos form a few sites like Prime Video & YouTube and it works great. Sure, there are better looking tablets out there with better screens but this one works fine for what I want.
Overall I'd highly recommend this tablet if you root it and install Google Play Store. If you want to keep it as is out of the box, I'd recommend staying away from Amazon and going a full fledged Andriod tablet like Samsung.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Receiver: It's a good receiver for a decent price. Easy to read with 10 different presets that are easy to change from one to another. My biggest complaint with the receiver is that it doesn't tell you what preset you are on, it instead tells you channel number. My pre merger receiver told me that information.
Nice signal. I hardly ever lost it in the month or so that I've had it. Easy to install. Can use either FM or Auxiliary input for your car. Both sound good but of course Auxiliary is more clear and cleaner bass.
In Closing the Receiver gets a 3 out of 5 stars. Nothing special but nothing really hindering it either.
SiriusXM Service: I used to be a huge satellite radio fan, what wasn't to like compared to FM? Commercial free, uncensored and never have to change a station no matter where you drive. Started out with Sirius and then switch to XM. Things happened and had to cancel my service shortly before the merger took place. I had fond memories of those days. Did buying this receiver bring back the glory days? Unfortunately no.
Todays landscape is alot different then back then, with the invention of smart phones and the price dropping on smartphone data.
SiriusXM doesn't have anything that is exclusive music wise, sure they have Howard if that's still sells subscriptions, I don't think it does. All the music you want to hear on Sirius you can find a station to play that online, whether that be a real station that also broadcasts online or something like Pandora or even SiriusXM sells a online only subscription.

I just don't see satellite radio being worth the price of admission anymore. Even if I stream the exact same amount as what I'd listen to SiriusXM, I feel after the price of the receiver and subscription, I'd still come out ahead by streaming online, instead of subscribing to SiriusXM.

If you in the same room as your router (and why would you need wireless if it's in same room as router?). Other wise it's pretty much complete junk.
The Roku always shows I have great to excellent signal connection, however it constantly buffers. Netflix will buffer every 5 minutes or so, sling tv half the time won't even start playing, if it does it's horribly pixalated. Moving the Roku into the same room helps it be more stable but still buffers more then it should.
Half the time the remote seems to lose connection to the Roku. I have to take batteries out and put them back in for it to work. I've attempted to use the Roku App as the remote but half the time the app says there is no Roku connected to network.
Overall I'd jump up and atleast get the Roku 2 or something completely different with a ethernet port.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I live in a smaller 3 bedroom apartment and always liked Netgear so had no second thoughts on buying this product. Unfortunately it's very hit and miss. Most of the time it'll connect to internet for 10 minutes then for some reason it'll disconnect and it'll say "connected to router" and then 5 mins later it'll pop up saying connected to internet. My pc is connected farthest room of house but my Note 4, and my laptop all have strong signal there. So I have to assume it's the wireless adaptor. Never has really worked that great since I bought it, not sure if I just got a defective one or what. Plan to just buy a long ethernet cable and hardwire the pc.

Do I need a roku console to use a roku stick in the house?
Only thing you need to use the Roku Stick is wifi.

Can you plug the Roku stream stick into HDMI-DVI port, since HDMI port is connected to cable box
Must be commented to HDMI. A DVI port will not work.

Does streaming through your iPhone use up a lot of battery on phone... If 2 users does that iPhone need to be in the house to watch TV with roku stick
Streaming anything to the roku stick must be on the same network as the Roku.

how do i hook up the roku to my t.v. from my computer?
The Roku is a stand alone product. It doesn't interact with your computer. A Chromecast might work better for you.

I do not believe you can. A Chromecast *might* work.
