What's great about it: Reasonable price, compact, and easy to use
What's not so great: Not particularly attractive
I bought this drive to replace an old Seagate, which had failed. The drive is easy to use, and was recommended by the guy who was able to rescue my files from the failed seagate drive. It works well, is easy to use and set up as an external hard drive. It sits on my desk, so it would be nice if it were more attractively packaged (It looks like a little black box...).
This product has... Reliable, Quiet, Large capacity/good size
About me... Budget Conscious, Business Professional, Need a simple backup solution, i am my company technology department
I would recommend this to a friend!

What operating systems will this drive work with?

I have two laptops, one has Windows XP and the other has Windows 7. I would like an external drive that could be used to back up both of these computers. I would also like it to be compatible with Windows 8.
i use my drive with windows 8.1 and windows XP with no problem.
