I live in an apartment that suffers from interference from a billion other routers surrounding me. The 2.4Ghz band is borderline pointless here, what few devices I have that only support 2.4 barely work and the connection drops a lot. Went ahead and got this little adapter for my cheap laptop and it works great. I don't have an AC router yet so I can't say how much better AC does than N but the 5Ghz band works fine and I can actually do homework without worrying about losing connection. Compared to a lot of other adapters this one is fairly small, so that's a plus, although I wish it was a little smaller. I think it came with software but I didn't install anything; if I remember correctly I think I might've gone to Netgear's website and downloaded a driver. I've had this for a couple of months now and so far so good. If you need 5Ghz, I highly recommend this one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Loud. Clear mid's and high's.
What's not so great: No bass.
Got this for my birthday last year, already knew it didn't have any bass but I liked the other features and the clearness. Exactly 1 year later (on my birthday yesterday), this speaker decided it wanted to spit out nothing but pure distortion in the middle of a song. Can't figure out why. Tried a few different things and still nothing but distortion. I will never buy Beats products ever again (have a pair of Solo HD's that I liked, that's what brought me to buying the Pill). What makes it even better is that on Beats website it says there is a 1 year warranty after purchase date, so I'm maybe 2-3 days over that 1 year limit. I will never recommend Beats products to anyone again. How do you take care of stuff only to have it stop working for no apparent reason? Beats = Trash.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For wall mounting, what is the VESA of this TV?

If you would look at the specifications in the compatibility section you would see "VESA Wall Mount Standard". I'm not going to tell you what it says because you should be doing that yourself...

Existing Router

have this already, will the adapter work with it?
Netgear Wireless N-2230. I need to move my PC about 40 feet away from the router and It is hard wired into it right now. I cannot move the router.
I tried to look up your router and the only thing from Netgear with a similar model number was an NAS, and that isn't a router.

Picture fades if viewing slightly from side angles

Purchased Samsung 40" LED 1080 UN4OH5003AF, my first experience with Widesreen. Is it normal to have the picture colour fade or bleach when viewing from the sides? Thanks for any comments.
To an extent, yes. It shouldn't be so much that it's unwatchable though.

im just curious how long these sets last-does anyone have their set over 5 years / thanks for your time

I'm pretty sure this model isn't that old so I don't think anyone can honestly answer that. On another note, I have this TV in my bedroom and I haven't had a single issue out of it. As for the longevity of Samsung, I have a higher end Samsung that I've had for maybe 4 years now and it's still going strong (but I also paid over $2000 for it so I hope it will last for a long time) and another Samsung that I've had for maybe 5 years without any issues (a smaller 22" LED). I've got 2 more Samsung TV's (this model being one of them) but they're only a few months old so only time will tell. If you don't feel 100%, you can always purchase a warranty.

Would this be a good monitor for photography?

Mainly looking for color representation
I really enjoy this monitor but honestly I can't say I would recommend it for photography. It's not terrible, but the colors start to get a little (emphasis on "little") washed out depending on the angle you're sitting and for photography I don't think that would be ideal. Then again this is my opinion and you might find the monitor to be perfect for your needs.

What do you service ?

Do you service Bose Cine-mate sound systems ?
Mine is not working and I am not sure why not.
You should probably ask an actual Best Buy representative, I'm sure they'll have more info on that subject than your fellow co-customers.

Should I buy a Blu-Ray DVD player with wi-fi capability?

I just recently purchased a Smart TV and now want to buy a blu-ray DVD player. If I am accessing Pandora, Netflix, Facebook apps via my Smart TV, do I really need this same capability on the blu-ray DVD player?
No. Smart TV's and smart BlueRays really aren't that great for streaming movies and music as their menus tend to be clunky and they rarely have updates. My main setup is a high end Samsung and a Samsung BlueRay/stereo (not very great, but sufficient); they're both "smart" but I never use those features and instead use PS3/PS4 or Apple TV to stream.

Smart Tv and Smart Blu Ray Player

Hi

I purchased yesterday at one of your store the following items:
Samsung 46" smart Tv UN46ES6100F
Samsung Smart Blu Ray Player BDD6500BD
I was thinking last night before I unpack everything, do I really need a smart Blu Ray Player if I have a smart TV? Advantages to this? At this point it would be easy just to exchange the Blue Ray player if there no major advantages to having two smart devices.

Thanks very much
If you want to watch BlueRays then yes, you'll need the BlueRay player. Honestly, smart TV's and smart BlueRay players aren't that great as their menus tend to be clunky. If you're wanting to stream movies from Netflix or something similar, you're a lot better off buying a separate set-top box or dongle (Chromecast, Roku, Apple TV, etc.)
