Great dryer but DO NOT use dryer sheets!!

We have an aerobic septic system and cannot use fabric softener in our washer. When we purchased this washer/dryer we were not told that the use of dryer sheets is not recommended (nor can I find this info in the owners manual). I began to experience longer than usual drying times, a lot of humidity in the dryer drum and the four bars restricted signal in the display. I found the information on the internet regarding the use of dryer sheets, discontinued use, problem solved. Now I need to find a way to soften clothes without fabric softener or dryer sheets. I would recommend this to anyone not on a septic system.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Washer model LG WT1101CW and LG Dryer DLE1101W

My washer and dryer are two different shades of white. The dryer is more of an egg shell white and washer is bright white. I didn't see them side by side in store because they didn't have a floor model of the dryer. Wouldn't you think they would be the same color?
Yes, for sure. Mine are exactly the same color!!

How can you open the door when it is locked ?

Mine doesn't lock. Just pull really hard.

Vent kit

Do I need to buy another vent kit if I already have a dryer hooked up to a vent? Can the installers use the plug and vent that I have?
Yes, They used what I had hooked to my old dryer. I did buy a new plug however.
