Works great! Only had to do basic setup programming through my laptop and ready to go! Included instructions made it easy to set up modem. Put it in automatic mode and internet starting working right away. Replaces a very old ADSL modem I had that suddenly stopped working. I have Centurylink as ISP.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My ISP (CenturyLink) is telling me that this modem will not support or run with 25mbps DSL and I will have to use their modem, is this true?

ISP tells me that the Netgear ADSL+2 will not work with 25 Mbps internet and I will have to use their modem/router combo. Is this true or will I be able to utilize my Netgear?
I have DSL through CenturyLink and this modem works great. Sounds like they just want to get you to pay their monthly rental fees. Just do the basic setup when you first get it plugged in and put it in to automatically detect your ISP (Centurylink) and it will start working right away. There are instructions included on how to do this.
