What's great about it: 10 min Set up
What's not so great: Nothing yet
Set up with Optical cord to Cox Cable box to Bose. Plugged it in and thats it! Amazing Bose sound, good Base, treble. I will tinker with connection to my Aux so that I can use one remote. I will give a second review later if anything comes up. I think I will purchase another for Family room since surround sound is no longer working. Excellent product, Husband loves it. No visible wires!
I would recommend this to a friend!

what other cables are needed to connect this unit to the tv?

I just bought a new tv and the speakers like all new TV's are not facing outward. So I needed a sound bar and since Bose is a good product I decided to get this. So what other cables do I did to get make this happen?
I used the Optical cable- Connect Optical cable that came with system. 1-connect to Cable box Optical plug 2. Optical to Bose system. Thats it! No connect to the Tv is needed if you have cable box.

Will the Bose Solo improve the Sound on my Samsung 57" TV ?

I asked this question BEFORE and in email came, BUT I could not find the Answer to My Question ?

a solo bose sound system

I have a 55 inch t.v. does Bose Produce a solo sound system the would take the weight of at.v. this size it weighs 26kg. I have read that the Bose solo being advertised is recommended for sets around 42 inch max weight 30 lbs.
The Base would be too small to set your Tv on top. I would recommend a shelf or slim line entertainment center with a Bracket that holds your Unit.
