Superb sound quality on both ends. Plenty of nice features. Nice large buttons as well as screen. Extremely nice that when you update a number in the phone book it populates to all handsets. I am not using the answering machine feature, but it is very easy to turn off.

I would recommend this to a friend!

Yes you can program the ringer not ring. The manual tells you how to configure it.
