USB 3 is very fast and if you have a USB 3 port you need a matching flash drive. This one works well is feels solid. I like the retractable feature, no cap to lose.

The mouse and the keys are fine but the overall construction is a bit flimsy. I tend to hammer on the keys and this keyboard flexes and jumps around. If you have a softer touch then it would probably be fine.

Beautiful display. Sharp image and great colors. Note - the display is very glossy, like a black mirror. If you are bothered by reflection or glare from a monitor this is not the one for you. Matte finish monitor avoid this problem but they look fuzzy to me. It's just a matter of personal preference.

Very good ultrabook

Solid. Feels good in your hands. I was looking for an SSD laptop and this was the best value I found. It's super fast simply by virtue of the SSD. The keyboard is good quality and it has all the ports I need. I use it with an external monitor so I needed to buy a micro (not mini) HDMI adapter for it. If you buy a micro HDMI make sure to find a narrow one as the port is tight against a USB port and a wide HDMI cable will block the USB. My only problem with the laptop is the display. It is a matte finish which, to my eye, is fuzzy. I prefer a glossy, sharp screen, which is what I have for the external monitor. This is all a matter of preference as many people do not like the glare and reflection from a glossy screen. But I recommend getting a look at the screen in a store or comparing matte vs. glossy before you commit.

Outstanding computer. Once you make the mental leap to doing everything online you will see why a chromebook is amazing. Superfast without expensive hardware. You can't upgrade it but you don't need to so there is no money to be spent later on this machine. $0 worth of software to buy. No worries about viruses, period. Starts up and shuts down in seconds. I hated waiting for a long update every other time I started up my pc. You open the cover of a chromebook and go! My other computers eventually get so cluttered that they slow down to the point that I want to scream. The chromebook does not really get loaded up so this will not be a problem. And you can "scrub" the thing and start over if you want. "But what about backing up my data first?" No need, it's in the cloud. "Now I will have to spend an entire day reloading all my software." No need, there is no software. No spinning hard drive to heat up your laptop and kill your battery. The battery life of this chromebook is super long. The solid state drive and RAM are small but there is no need for them to be big - everything is done on the web and it has more than enough space and power to open up 10 tabs in the browser. It plays music well, the video streaming from youtube and netflix is smooth, the screen is not super bright but it is not bad either. Connect it to your TV with an HDMI cable and get stunning 1080 streamed video. It has a matte finish so glare is not a problem. It's also small and very light. To print you will need a cloud printer or be in a home with any regular computer that is connected to a regular printer. You will just need to turn on cloud print in chrome on the regular computer, it's simple. It has USB and SD connections so you can play music or videos locally if needed. You can copy files from a flash drive onto the chromebook drive or google drive.
If you have applications that need to be loaded onto a computer hard drive then a chromebook will not work for you. If you want to use it in places were there is no wi-fi it is also not a good choice as it's offline use it pretty limited. But if you want something for web surfing, watching videos, Facebook, and light word processing I highly recommend it. Plus, it's inexpensive and you will not need to put any more money into it.

Does it come with a free upgrade to windows 10?
I upgraded it to Windows 10. Easy. It does not "come" with an upgrade, you get one free online from Windows simply by having a Win 8 machine.
