What's great about it: easy install
What's not so great: short range
Bought this today for a laptop running windows 8 to work with my new Bluetooth headphones. Forget the directions, don't install the software from the disk, don't go to the website and download a new version...
Just plug the thing in and let windows install it and it works great!!!!
The range is only about 20 feet, while others claim 30feet so yea!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Is it compatible for windows 8.1

I have been looking around for one that is compatible with windows 8.1, but i cant find many. i was wondering if this one was.

Failed to Update Bluetooth Software (rocketfish micro bluetooth adapter)

Im trying to install the software of rocketfish but i didnt work , it said "Failed to Update Bluetooth Software" I have tried to go the main page of rocketfish and download from there , but nothing change

I have window 8
64 bits
norton antivirus( I have tried tp disable antivirus already , it didnt work either)
skip the software and just let windows install it. Mine worked on windows 8
