What's great about it: much faster than Thive tablet
What's not so great: 3g, 4g, lte but no cell phone apps, no sd card slots
purchased the 3g/4g/lte on 5/11/2014 for 349 expecting it to replace my dying dinosaur nokia cell phone.
To my dissappointment no cell phone apps even though it has all the required bands to support it. Not sure what they were thinking when they designed the product but the big misses discovered to far is no "typical" cell phone apps, no hdmi port, no std usb port and no sd card support.
the designers cut alot of corners on this device in this regard but the full hd screen is nice, with little to no video stuttering. sound quality is ok but even at max volume a bit quiet, typically will need a amped. head set to get decent play back volumes. The 4 core processor, newer ger video 2g memory and 32 gb storage space is a nice plus
About no cell phone support, it does run Skype and other phone apps (voip and sip phone) but they require the use of the "dataplan" you get from a wireless provider, considering my low phone call volume probably not an issue.
Another issue is the responce to finger presses on buttons, you have to stab (ie: tap"?) the "button" hard or many times for tablet to accept the responce, somet6hing I guess I can live with.
IN summary good but not exceptional. Ok for main stream users.
This product is... Sharp graphics, fast enough for current apps and os version, sorely lacking in cell phone apps, slow to respond to user input
About me... Comfortable with technology, software engineer

What's great about it: Multiple Inputs
What's not so great: Setup app broken, complicated to use
Not sure what Pioneer was thinking on this one.
For a a/v reciever I'd expect a full screen menuing system where I could see input selections and be able to adjust various settings.
If this exists somewhere I can't find it.
I would at least see a on screen status display but this unit is more of a overly complex amp that just happens to have hdmi switching.
The setup app you install on a cd is slick, too bad it doesn't work.
after you define the inputs you can't progress past step 3,
I'LL PLAY WITH THIS ITEM for ANOTHER WEEK BUT I'll probably be returning it for a refund
This product has... broken setup app, complicated setup
About me... practical

What's great about it: Good Entry Level Product but...
What's not so great: read the foot notes
I'm upgrading to 3D and wanted a player with good options.
Sadly this player does a few things well but fails on many fronts.
While it plays std and 3d blue ray, dvd and sacd, almost any player does that, where it fails is a fairly limited media format support, I was expecting to be able to multipurpose this device as a network player of many music and video formats. Turns out via dlna, you are limited to a very narrow range. mp3 for audio, and avi for video. Every thing else is fluff.
I'll be checking the return policy and if not to painfull returning the item and I looking at the Denon line up
This product has... clumsy remote, dlna features are a joke
About me... Avid movie watcher, Love to stream movies
