What's great about it: Lightweight, Wifi
What's not so great: Somewhat under powered dual core, single brightness setting on backlit keyboard
Overall nice ultrabook, especially for everyday computing. If you're looking for mobility, good wifi and an okay Win tablet, this is a good value. I think the touch pad is much nicer than many I've tried, but in general, I don't like them and disable them.
I have a number of issues with it, but overall, I think the good outweighs the bad.
I didn't expect stellar performance from the dual core processor, even though it is an i7. Even still, I was disappointed with its performance. For my purposes, I should've waited for a Broadwell version.
The backlit keyboard has only one brightness setting. When viewing the keyboard from an angle, the illumination is not even and is distracting. This makes it look unattractive and cheaply made--which is not the case when it is unlit.
I found that I had to completely power it off before putting it into a carrying case. Otherwise, it would overheat quickly and enough to possibly damage it.
The display can be aggravating when using different applications and you may have to fool with the settings to essentially decrease the resolution so that some GUI elements are large enough to be usable.
Fortunately, the Windows 8.1.1 update came out when I bought it and I updated immediately. It is usable, though still annoying because of the "charms" and changes to the configuration settings. I have yet to find how to change the display contrast levels.

I dont know what to do :( help!

It seems that Best Buy is no longer carrying the 8gb model that I have. I'm bummed because apparently after I bought this, Lenovo put out an updated version of the yoga 2 that had the improved "yellows" and the "fixed" wifi issues.

I looove this convertible but, I don't want this inferior model and am hoping that Best Buy gets in the newer model soon because I only have 2 weeks left to get a refund. It just doesn't seem fair to have to keep this "defective" model

If I explain this situation to management what is the possibility that they would extend the dates in which I can exchange or refund the product?
@Ryan

My understanding is that the "yellows" and "wifi" issues were fixed by a BIOS update--which you can apply through a software download. Be sure to read and follow the instructions (readme file) carefully.

I've also read that the update didn't work for some. YMMV. Google for "lenovo yoga 2 pro yellow problem" for further reading and a link to the download files. Good luck!
