What's great about it: Minimum size, maximum toughness
Was looking for a phone case that provided superior protection without added bulk so phone would easily fit in any pocket. This one does it perfectly, with a surface texture that helps keep the phone in your hand but also lets it slide in and out of pockets.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Access away from home?

If this is connected to my home network would it be possible that I could access this away from home if I know the IP address or something else?
Yes. Two ways:
1. From any computer with Internet access at wdmycloud.com or wd2go.com. This requires some intial setup to associate login information (e-mail address, password) with your specific device. Instructions can be found on the WD website.
2. Using mobile device apps. I can vouch for iOS apps (work well on iPhone and iPad), never explored Android counterparts.
