What's great about it: Endless number of features
What's not so great: No built in wireless connection for use with IPAD, etc,.
I purchased this a few weeks ago to replace an older receiver. I also purchased this with the intent to have surround sound for our new 70 inch TV. I have been quite happy with the sound, as well as the number of features this receiver has. I installed it and did all the hookups. If you are not tech savy you may want to have someone do it for you. I utilized the manual online to assist in the hook up process. There are many many options / features with this receiver. The only dissappointment I have at this time is that there is no built in wireless capabilities to play music on it from my IPhone / IPOD. In order to do this you must purchase an adapter.
This product has... Plenty of power for all my needs, Interfaces well with TV, Good multi-zone capability

What's great about it: Picture quality on high definition channels / DVD is awesome.
What's not so great: No separate HDMI audio output available when connecting to receiver
This TV was an upgrade for us, moving from a 55 inch plasma. I mounted it on the wall and was very easy to install. Looks amazing. Picture and color quality when using high definition and DVD channels is amazing. Has many options for adjustments in picture quality. I can't wait for the ability to use 4K on Netflix, and hopefully cable. We connected it to a receiver for surround sound capabilities. The only downside I have found is that when you set up the TV to use surround sound through a receiver, the speakers in the TV are not utilized. Thus, if running an application directly from your TV, there is no sound output unless you change the output setting on the TV, or get an additional audio cable connected. With this, the TV does not have an HDMI audio ouput connection to run audio to the receiver.
