What's great about it: lots and lots of room
What's not so great: lcd turns off once in a while
I cannot believe that this fridge holds a large Costco pizza box inside. It doesn't look like it would hold much but it does. It's super quiet. Ice doesn't taste like the freezer like my old fridge did. The only drawback was the LCD screen would turn off once in a while and would have to be reset. We've listened to music and entered some travel pictures. Even Post- its can be entered. As far as surfing the internet, that is not what it is meant for- just a quick look on headlines.
This product has... Design I love, Compact ice maker, An easy to change water filter, No hard to reach spots, Humidity controlled drawers, A freezer designed to fit full-size pizza boxes, Consistent temperature throughout, Tall water dispenser, Multiple temperature zones, Runs quietly

What's great about it: great looks
What's not so great: dead in 2 years
I wouldn't buy or recommend this only for the sole reason that it died within 2 years. I loved the look. I even forgave it for making a gooey sludge on my counter when it was cooking rice . However, I had a Japanese rice cooker that lasted for 19 years and this one died within 2 yrs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

how do you unfreeze the touch screen?

I have the model rf4287ha and I can't get the touch screen to work. I just got it today. The manual says to hold the power cold and power save buttons at the same time but that is not working.
There is a reset area- look at where you get water and ice- look up there you will see a hole. Straighten a paper clip and push. that should reset it.

how do I reset the LCD Touch Screen

Hi I bought recently ( 3 weeks ago) Samsung - 28.0 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator with LCD Touch Screen and Apps - Stainless-Steel. some how LCD Touch Screen is stuck how I can reset that, to work the apps
Look under the area where you get ice and water, there is a hole there. You need to straighten a paper clip and push it in that hole to reset.
