What's great about it: can get 2 of these for price of 1 monitor only 1-3 inches bigger
I have 3 of these monitors hooked to my HP Envy. One via VGA, one via DMI and one via USB-to-VGA adapter - all work great and were virtually plug-n-play. The VGA & DMI connects are best with the adapter 3rd as it has a few tiny dots on screen I can barely notice but its a (cheap) adapter issue, not the monitor. May get a 4th someday.

I know I need speakers to get sound since this monitor does not have built-in speakers. How do I connect speakers to this monitor and my CPU?
Any recomendations on speakers for this monitor?
speaker have a 'jack' that you plug in to the speaker 'plug' on your PC, goto BestBuy, the sell a lot of these

Do all HP monitors have built in speakers?

Does this monitor have a webcam? If not, can it be added?
No webcam but BestBuy sells webcams you can connect to your computer and then set on top of the monitor.

My new laptop only has USB ports. Can I connect this monitor with a USB?
No, you'll need a USB-to-VGA adapter, BestBuy sells many of them

Is there a telescoping post available for this monitor?
I recently purchased this monitor and while very pleased with it, I find it too low for my desk situation. Is there an alternative post/base I could purchase? I would like to raise it about four inches.

Is whitewashed picture normal?
I bought the HP W2071D monitor last nite. It works good but I notice I can go over 45 deg from center to left, right or down and all that happens is the picture gets a little darker. But if I go as little as 20 deg up the picture is whitewashed. Is this normal or is there a problem. Tried looking on HPs site but even tho it says this monitor was built in March 2013, they don't even list it.
it is normal. Monitors are meant to be viewed straight on, not at angles

Will it work for 220V power supply?
I intend to purchase this for use in overseas. The power supply voltage is 220V. Will this monitor work? I did not see any mention in the Specs.
NO it's a 110V - 22W monitor. I'm no electrician but you never plug a 110V device into a 220V outlet (plug issues aside) as you'll fry your device.

Does this LED flat panel have a pc input so it gets tv reception?
Monitor W2071d has VGA port (and cable) and a DVI port to hook to your PC. W2071d does not have a TV tuner but if your PC has a built-in Tv tuner or TV tuner card, your PC linked to the monitor, should be able to output to the monitor like any other monitor on your PC.
