What's great about it: Great 2-n-1, tablet is excellent.
I owned both the Asus T100 10.1" tablet/laptop and loved it except for the smallish keyboard. I then moved on to the HP Pavilion X2 11.6 tablet/laptop and that system was "okay", except that it had horrible, horrible battery life and it seemed rather heavy. Then, after trying out the Lenovo, I was sold. Great battery life for my use blogging (a LOT of wifi time), writing via Microsoft Office and all in all, it handles anything that I throw at it. Mind you, this is NOT a gaming a laptop however, I didn't purchase it for that purpose. The fact that I have no latches to disconnect, or the need to carry the keyboard around as a second piece is really the best aspect to this whole thing. I highly recommend this laptop.

What laptop would you recommend for college students?

A laptop that has good amount of storage for work , papers and projects. Good on battery. Has camera and video. Good on school and life outside of school. Good on virus protection. Long lasting and good quality for a great price.

Battery Life

How many hours can I anticipate usage on a full charge??
I have been able to get eight hours on full charge with fairly heavy use in Office, surfing, blogging and listening to music while I work. I do NOT have the screen brightness at min - I have it at 60% (anything less is simply too dark for me...).

Granted, your use may be different than mine however, this is the first hybrid 2-n-1 that has given me this kind of battery life. (Previous owner of the HP X2, 11.6 <~~ HORRIBLE battery life!).
