What's great about it: Versatility
What's not so great: It does not make coffee
I visited the St. Pete store looking to purchase a new computer for work and personal use. I currently own a ThinkPad X1Carbon and a Retina Macbook Pro 15.6, which are in my opinion, two of the best computers I have ever owned, but I want something more portable and not the ordinary run-of-the-mill.
Walking into BestBuy, I was not too impressed with their selection of premium computers. The only device that caught my attention was the Surface Pro 2, after consulting with the Microsoft Specialist at the store, she reassured me that the Surface Pro 2 256gb with 8GB Ram would be the perfect device to suit my needs. The specialist took the time to demo the product to me and answered all of my questions, she was friendly, welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable.
After holding the Surface Pro 2, the build quality is incredibly solid and light (two pounds is NOT heavy, my 18 month old daughter holds the Surface Pro 2 comfortable while playing FREE games from the Windows Store--- yes, folks, there are PLENTY of apps within the Windows Store).
In my line of work, as a consultant for Lockheed Martin, my work requires me to travel often so I need speed, power, and great battery life. I can promise you, folks, the Surface Pro 2 delivers everything you could possibly want in a tablet pc---even if the Surface Pro 2 does not make my coffee, I still approve of its superior quality. Bravo to Microsoft for integrating software and hardware perfectly.
This product is... responsive touch screen, Good sound quality, easy to set up, lightning fast, Perfect for Business, Variety of apps available, A nice compact size, Sharp graphics, Easy to navigate, Great screen size, Comfortable to hold

I would recommend this to a friend!

Is Office 2013 included with the surface pro 2?

All I find is a trial version or a purchase option.
No, it is not included.

How many USB ports are there and are they USB 2.0, 3.0, or both?
