What's great about it: Installed out of box, very simple. Did it from my iphone, no issues at all. There is even an app that makes it easy.
What's not so great: Wish more apps were supported.
Easy to use. In about 4 minutes I was up and running. The streaming is great. It does not stream from your device, but rather uses it as a controller. Which is great. You can run netflix while on the phone, and no slow down on your device. We learned it does not work with amazon tablets, or windows phones. It does work fine with windows, android, and apple products. You can even stream browser (beta). There is a little lag, as this is the only app that does stream through your device. If you own movies, and want to play them through your device, make sure to download realplayer cloud. You can upload movies, and stream through the chrome cast. They have added a few new apps since I purchased, and they claim to be adding more and more.
It's cheaper than any streaming device (ps3/4, xbox one/ apple tv) and runs about the same as an hdmi to mini hdmi cable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Amazing picture! Solid value!
What's not so great: Default settings. Could use more HDMI inputs, it only has 2.
Out of the box, it was easy to set up. Basic tv stuff. At first the picture was a little choppy and the black seamed to dance on the screen. After a quick setup this cleared, and WOW! Smooth movement during games (sports not video), nice depth of detail. I will say, if you are not use to Samsung's smoothing technology, it does take a few days to get used to. It will almost seem like the video is running on BBC. After a while, you don't notice. Also I would recommend taking the sharpness down to 40. With it up too high I found a slight strain on my eyes while watching movies with lots of movement. It was recommended from a professional installer, and he was right on the money! Otherwise I will say, enjoy!
This product has... Easy to set up, Great value and features for the price, Easy to use remote control

Does the stand swivel?

My friend bought this same model in the 46" size and was surprised that the stand did not swivel.
No. The base of most tv's are fixed. They sell arms that wall mount, but the set does not swivel.

Does it have an optical out? Headphone jack. My surround receiver only does Dolby Digital 5.1, not DTS...will I still be able to get 5.1 surround?

My surround receiver rocks w/ 1000 watts 3 hdmi w/ pass through and optical digital input. I dont really replace it. It sounds great and was a huge bargain at 119 w/a 2 year warranty. This tv becomes less attractive if I gotta replace other components in my home theater. Whats the factory warranty?
If you have HDMI pass through, then just run the cable to the receiver then the tv. No need to replace anything. I am running mine through an older Denon receiver, and it works fine. Factory is standard. I got a 5 year through BestBuy for $89. I've used it a few times in the past. You just call a number, and they come out. No charge. Otherwise, you have to unplug, grab all you power cables and such, and head in to the store. $89 for 5 years, seems like a better use of my time. Plus, when my tv was destroyed during Sandy, it was covered under this, and I replaced the set.

When I watch shows in HD they looked dubed, why is that and how do I fix it?

I watch several shows on Amazon which I stream through my Roku. Most of these shows are HD but the voices don't match up to lips moving on the screen. Why is that and what can I do to fix it?
I have found when streaming on my tv, the audio seems to be ahead of the video. This is a very easy fix. If you go into your menu settings, and then audio, there is a feature to delay the sound. Play with it while streaming a video, it should clear this up. The problem that I have learned is, the audio, sometimes, is streamed slightly ahead of the video, as it is a larger file. When this happens, sometimes you get the audio in perfect sync with the video. It seems weird, because, well, it is. In the real world sound takes time to travel to you, so most sound editors will delay the audio ever so slightly. When they match up 100%, the audio seems off. Delaying the sound should fix this problem.

Hope this helps! Enjoy!
