When I watch shows in HD they looked dubed, why is that and how do I fix it?
I watch several shows on Amazon which I stream through my Roku. Most of these shows are HD but the voices don't match up to lips moving on the screen. Why is that and what can I do to fix it?
I have found when streaming on my tv, the audio seems to be ahead of the video. This is a very easy fix. If you go into your menu settings, and then audio, there is a feature to delay the sound. Play with it while streaming a video, it should clear this up. The problem that I have learned is, the audio, sometimes, is streamed slightly ahead of the video, as it is a larger file. When this happens, sometimes you get the audio in perfect sync with the video. It seems weird, because, well, it is. In the real world sound takes time to travel to you, so most sound editors will delay the audio ever so slightly. When they match up 100%, the audio seems off. Delaying the sound should fix this problem.
Hope this helps! Enjoy!
