What's great about it: Very accurate! Lifetime Map Updates!!!
What's not so great: I wish you could add/show points of inrests on the map like the Magellan does!
Just bought this GPS Unit to replace my Magellan 1440.I have always had Magellan but wanted a change. The 50LM is much more accurate and does not go off track like the Magellan. I got a good deal for it and was on sale for $89.99, and could not pass up this deal for a 5" GPS. I have had this for over a week and love it so far. Easy to update maps, nice selection of vehicles to choose from. I wish it would show more map detail, such as showing Railroad Tracks (no I did not get directed to turn on the R/R Tracks lol) I wish it would show icons coming up on Gas Stations, Food, Coffee, show more names of streets and other things. If it did this I would rate this unit a 5!!!
This product has... Large/easy to see screen, Easy menus, Free map updates
About me... Budget Conscious, Frequent traveler, Parent with kids, casual user, use for work to get to calls!
