Not extremely expensive and does a great job extracting juices even from tough veggies like kale or spinach. Very easy to take apart and clean.

Peels/skins & Pulp

Do fruits & veggies, for example oranges & bananas, need to be peeled prior to juicing? If not, is peel juiced or merely trapped in straining mesh?
How much of high fiber fruits & veggies "juiced" is wasted, ie, trapped in straining mesh?

Yes. Bananas, oranges, lemons, limes, etc still need peeled.
