Good game. Can be challenging not a typical combat shooter. Tactical and team oritented. Best if you have friends to join.
Muy Bueno.
Better on PC for 60+ fps but it'll do.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This TV is a STEAL for this price. One of the last plasmas available in the big box stores, I tried it originally, and was pleased, but had some problems with image retention and feared burn in. Traded (down) to a 4k Vizio 55", and the difference was astonishing. The vizio had washed out colors, looked unnatural, failed miserably at black colors, contrast was so poor, my old 1080p Sony from 2009 had a better picture. 4k is nice, yes, but not worth the trade off with the blacks.
Now, I returned that, and purchased another PN60F5300. Leaving the brightness/contrast/cell light down for the first 200-300 hours, as my research has indicated plasma TV's are like small children, as in if they get too excited, it takes a while for them to calm down. Take it from me, suppress your inner desire to crank it up, and have some patience, leave the settings about half until you have hit the 200 hour mark. Image retention is significantly less of a problem. I used some break in slides and screen saver from my Apple TV to break the phosphors in uniformly.
Once that is done, you should start researching settings for this panel, the 5300B panel, cause the 5300A is the 2013 model. This units screen is brighter and performs better.
I have a well lit living room, and the main problem with this panel is reflection. I have noticed that the light behind the TV reflects the window that is behind the couch. At night, there is no problem. This is easily resolved by pulling the curtains and limiting the light.
Turn down the sharpness, all the way to 0. Disable the eco feature. set it for 16:9 and enable pixel shifting in 1 minute intervals. Occasionally use the scrolling burn in feature, if for nothing else to make sure the "ghosting" is improving. Set the screen saver function. Be aware, however, that when using the XBXone, that the tiles changing prevents this from happening. If the settings are down, you are far less likely to get a retained image.
I can't understand why everyone is so crazy about these LED screens. Yes, some are beautiful, but for the true colors and improved motion handling, a $1000 TV isn't going to even come close to this PN60F5300B.
Now, they are selling for $679, I got 10% off my my movers coupon, picked it up and never looked back.
Just be sure to break it in, some people will disagree, but I am seeing far less image retention than I did the first time, and once its got a few hundred hours, I will be turning up those settings and calibrating it properly.
Enjoy!

Streaming in On Demand without HD

Can I stream in On Demand and Amazon Instant Video using a Smart Blue Ray player and the proper cables if I don't have a HD provider? I have Direct TV and unable to receive HD signals.
Also will the picture be just as good as if I had HD? I heard plasma runs hot...concerning?
I have not experienced temperature issues. However, in a small room in the midst of July's hottest day, you may feel heat from it, as all electronics generate heat. If you have a AC unit it will not be noticeable.

A smart blu ray player is all you will need to enjoy all of those functions, given that you have an internet connection and a way to access those features with your BD player.

Blue Ray hookup

I have Direct TV and cannot receive HD signals to my home because of neighbor's trees. Can I still get the benefits of a Blue Ray hookup with this tv?
yes! blu ray content is independent of what you will receive from DTV.

does apple tv work on this tv?

yes, using it right now. works great in fact. and the fact it has a 2 minute screen saver enable function makes it a great match for this TV, particularly in the first several hundred hours of use.

Audio: Internal + External Speakers?

A couple posts reference the external speaker setting... I only have two rear speakers and no sound bar. Is it possible to play sound through both the external and internal speakers simultaneously?
yes, you have that option, however controlling the sound and having them be perfectly matched may be an issue to to delay. I have not tried it personally, but I had the sound enabled on the TV originally and my yamaha 7.2 receiver play simultaneously.
