I have had the Bose ear piece for four years, loved it. Finally died. Bought the Hint hoping it would be everything the Bose was with out the bulk.
The sound quality is poor at best. Very tinny sound.
I have triad all the included ear bud adaptors, none of them keep the ear piece in for very long. It falls out with only a few minutes of talking. Any physical activity and it wiggles it's way out of the ear. Being very light, it is not always easy to know when this happens. Hard to find in the grass....almost fell into storm drain.

What's great about it: Great screen! Bright! Clear! No light leaks.
What's not so great: A bit heavy. Reboot takes longer than SSD devices.
Where do I start? From the beginning? Maybe not. Lets just say I took the long road to get to the R7.
I started with a SurfacePro, quickly outgrew the 64 gig drive, traded in for a 128 gig SurfacePro 2, Loved it. Had a WiFi issue. Geek's did not know it was a driver issue, so I exchanged it for the Yoga Pro, Nice but it had major light leakage. Retuned that for a Dell 8000 slim Laptop. Nice but really needed a tablet not just touch screen.... I tried a Sony Flip 11A, holy cow... what a disaster that was! Touch screen was intermittent, pen would not work and when it did, the cursor would bounce around like someone had remote access....More SurfacePro 2's arrived at Best Buy and returned the Flip in less than twenty four hours... Fast forward four months. I started to have issues with the Pro 2. Nooooo. I don't need to deal with this! First there was the update from hell back in January. This update would cause the Pro 2 to wake up randomly. Normally no big deal, not! If it woke up while in my laptop case? I would not go back to sleep. It would stay on until battery was dead. Bad enough, but it was also hot enough to fry an egg on it. This happened four or five times before I realized what was actually going on. Would put in standby instead, problem solved until new fix..... A few weeks ago, the battery would start to drain real fast. No apps running, over night in standby, there would be a 20% drop in battery life. Basic web browsing would give a max of four hours at 50% brightness.....Add to this the fact that the over heating slightly damaged the screen, molting along the edges and light leaks. Used my repair/replacement warrantee. Exchanged for another Pro 2 since I loved my last one so much prior to update issues. Unit was OK, but light leaks were more than I cared for, exchanged three days later. I wanted the R7, sales clerk talked me out of it. Claimed they got a lot of returns. So! I tried the new and improved Yoga Pro 2! Great 2 in 1 if you don't rely on quickbooks etc. High resolution screen made drop down menus very not touch friendly. Scaling to the point of touch friendliness made the purpose of the Yoga a waste....returned four days later....again wanted the R7 but was talked out of it....assured the Flip 13A was everything I wanted..... WRONG! Screen was so flimsy, it would bend no matter where I grabbed it to flip into tablet mode. The magnets that hold the bottom while in laptop mode were way too strong....screen was degrading by the day. Kept the unit for a week...over all liked it. After seven days... it looked like I was in my garage... the screen had a bright white "fluorescent bulb" running across the entire top. That's it! I went back to Best Buy, started to explain why I was returning yet another device. Before I even got one sentence out, the clerk said "no need to explain, you are well within your 45 day return policy" WOW!

That made me feel real good about Best Buy....so much so....I wanted to write this review just for that reason.
What I love about the R7

The four speakers are kick butt... nice sound.
Touch pad is exactly where it needs to be if you are good with Windows 8. Use the Logitech slim mouse. Best 69.00 I ever spent. The entire surface is like a touch pad. Highly recommend with any convertible or tablet!

With the 4th Gen I5, it is zippy not screaming fast, zippy. Wakes from standby with in a second or two. Not bad for a HHD.

I would recommend this for anyone who is looking for a cross between a tablet with out giving up the screen realestate.
I use the NTrigg Pen from my old HTC Flyer. You can get new ones online for under $10 and they work!
If a five pound laptop does not concern you? Give this baby a try.
This product is... Good sound quality, A touch pad that works great, Perfect for Business, Big screen size, easy to set up, zippy not lightning fast., great quality build.

Acer, one thing, is the wifi fixed for the "refreshed" model?
Want acer to acknowledge if they noticed the 99% defective laptops in the original and I thought the refreshed was all about that fix plus little spec bumps. They didnt answer other guy whom asked so far and this is real important. Amazing laptop but needs the wifi fixed.
I have had no real issues with the WiFi on mine.
