When I watch shows in HD they looked dubed, why is that and how do I fix it?

I watch several shows on Amazon which I stream through my Roku. Most of these shows are HD but the voices don't match up to lips moving on the screen. Why is that and what can I do to fix it?
Under advanced audio options there may be a way to correct the delay. Or try putting the tv into 'game mode' , that should work too.

I have turtle beaches x11's

And they're wired headphones powered through usb from the xbox and the have the red and white audio cables for sound but I plugged them into the tv and I get no sound from the headphones?
Is there something I am doing wrong?
I don't think this TV can send audio out through those connections (those red and white hookups are only for input, not output). For watching television you can plug directly into your cable box (which should have audio out), as for the xbox if you want to use headphones and don't have a stereo system to plug the headphones in your going to have to buy different ones.
Sorry. Hope for your sake I'm wrong but I don't think I am.
