Great sound...rich, deep and clear, especially for a sound bar! Very loud as well. With the SONOS Subwoofer and Boost, this system rocks my house and is perfect for entertaining. I have the playbar wired to my 60" TV using an optical cable for sound. As advertised, the system can be controlled using a smartphone or tablet device as well with the SONOS app. Once plugged into your home network #hard wired thru Ethernet - Ethernet cable must be plugged directly into the playbar or you must plug the Ethernet cable directly into the SONOS Boost, an add'l component# and the "Desktop SONOS software installed on your home computer, the SONOS system will be able to recognize your media library #iTunes, etc.# and stream music easily across any of the speakers. There are also add'l add on apps within the SONOS software such as streaming music from your Pandora or SiriusXM accounts. A must have for any music lover! Setup was easy using the SONOS app. It walks you thru step by step on installing a particular speaker type or component.

Should the playbar be used as a center speaker?
