What's great about it: I can focus on programming with no conversations distractions
What's not so great: took some time to get used to putting them in ear
I have been programming for 15 years and every office I have worked at I have had the issue of office conversations distracting me from focusing. Programming requires that you focus on a lot of details at once and you need to be able to spend long periods of time following logic. I have been so frustrated that employers put programmers in noisy cubicles and expect them to just ignore all that is going on around them. I purchased the Bose over ear noise cancelling headphones (quiet comfort 15) but these were painful on my ears after a day of work - pressure on my glasses was too much. I was skeptical that the in ear version would work effectively, but I purchased them and returned the over ear headphones. I have been in heaven since purchasing these headphones. i can work and I do not hear the conversations around me. Loud laughter sometimes comes through, or if there is a loud conversation right by me - but music along with the cancellation feature drowns out most everything. People in the office now know that when they come up behind me they need to do something to get my attention because I cannot hear them and I am in the zone. It is wonderful and so worth every penny. As for sound quality, I don't feel qualified to speak on that. I typically listen to white noise or classical type music. When I listen to regular music it sounds fine, high quality sound was not my goal which is not to say these are bad in any way.The only issue I had early on was getting the headphones in my ears comfortably. Over time I have adjusted to them and they fit well. They come with other size ear pieces but I have not tried them. The unit has a small box attached to it for the noise reduction - I set this on my iphone and set them both on my desk, or in my lap - I don't have any issues with this. I charge the unit by plugging it into my computer when necessary. You do want to try to turn off the unit when not in use to save battery.

Is it compatible with iphone and ipad wall chargers ?
yes. you can charge this device using the iphone 5/ipad charger. It has a usb connector.
