I first considered getting the Fitbit Flex, as I used to own a clip on Fitbit and liked it. However, when looking at the price/feature ratio, I realized that this watch was a much better deal. I also own a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and an S4 and the S Health integration made it pretty much a no-brainer once I figured out the Gear Fit existed. I knew about the Gear, Gear 2 and the Neo, but I don't need to make calls or take photos with my watch (yet) so I opted for the Fit. I am obsessed with it already. I've had it for two weeks and I don't feel dressed without it. I can track my movement and sleep, check my heart rate, as well as get any notifications I want on it. People think its a neat trick when I decline a call from my wrist. Either way, I like S Health (despite the skimpy preset workout options) and this band allows me to get the most from the app without having to carry my Note 4 from room to room. I am all about this thing. If you're looking for a fitness band and have a somewhat recent Samsung device, get it.

Can my gear fit sync with My fitnesess Pal ?

Can my gear fit sync with My fitnesess Pal 1? Just bought the gear fit and I have Samsung 4s, is there an app to sync them?
myFitnessPal doesn't support the Gear family as of now, but I shouldn't be surprised if they start to soon. I use the Gear Fit and MFP together but they don't actually sync. I just input times and calories burned from the S Health app into MFP manually. I don't think that there's much of a chance of the two syncing until S Health supports more than 4 types of exercise.
