Ice maker is a tragic design - HUGE disappointment
This product has... Lots of door storage, Design I love, An easy to change water filter, No hard to reach spots, inferior ice dispensr, ice maker $500 after 1 year

Order without drinking water/ice dispenser?

Can I order this fridge without the water/ice features - just a plain door? We like the other specifications, but do not want a fridge with built in water and ice dispenser. Thanks!
This would be a great option. I have older kids and took a gamble on the weak link and the poor ice maker dispensed all of its guts into a glass at about one year. My appliance repair man took care of a recall issue (related to the ice maker/dispenser) and said that my "spilled guts" issue was my problem and would cost at least $500. We take care of/keep all of our stuff clean, so this is certainly something I will consider when purchasing another major appliance.
