This was on special one day sale. Great price and works great. Backup for telephone and wifi.

I am looking for a backup power source to use on my modem so that I do not lose my phone service which powers my alarm. Will this unit work well for that?

I have my telephone and wifi hooked to it and it shows a backup time of 179 minutes.
