I have used APC unites for several years. I installed this model and I have had my power cut off and the unit worked flawlessly. I have the APC unites on my Server, Security cameras and work stations. It also protects my router, switch and power switch. I do not recommend anything but APC. I have 3 APC battery backup unites.

I would recommend this to a friend!

How do change battery

Red Light is on telling me to change battery

if under warranty, go on line and check with support.
if past the warranty take the battery out and look at the model and replace it. either go to the battery store or order on line.
