I love the new PS4 controllers. They are much more responsive and enjoyable to hold than the PS3 controllers. The trigger buttons are a great improvement.

Does this not work for Xbox One?

My brother has an xbox one and I am trying to get him a wireless headset. Will this work for his Xbox One?
No I don't believe it works with the Xbox One. The chat adapter that connects to the controller is a different style than what the Xbox One controller has.

Use while charging?

Can you use the headphones while they are plugged in and charging or do you have to turn it off and let it charge?
You can use them while they are charging. It includes a very long charging cable, so it is convenient to use.

how do you charge them

There is a cable that is included with the headset that you plug into the USB port on the PS4. You can connect the USB cable to a USB wall charging adapter as well.

PS4 question

How does this work with the ps4 do you have to use a cable to the controller ? Also could I use this setup just to watch tv when my family is asleep ?
You can hear audio without the cable attached to the controller from the headset, but in order to chat using the mic, you have to connect the cable to the controller. You can use the headset to watch anything from your PS4 but I don't think you can hook it up to work as a headset for Cable TV or Satellite.

how does the ps3 headset compare to this one the ps4 headset?

i am trying to decide if I should buy the turtle beach ps4 or ps3 wireless headset
This headset is compatible with the PS4 and PS3 as well as the Xbox 360.

What's the battery life like on this thing?

I play Destiny online for about 8 hours at a time sometimes and it will last two days of 8 hour use before I need to charge them.
