This was recommended to us by a friend whom we trust, so we bought it on his word. We love it. My husband's Bluetooth ear piece was startling to deteriorate so he needed a new device. We use it everywhere--while driving, in my husband's office like a speaker phone, outside on our deck. It saves the iPhone battery by not using the speaker on the phone.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We haven't had a home phone for years, but I wanted to use one for my home business rather than using my cell. We had not heard of OOMA, but a friend had highly recommended it, so we bought a similar model to this one (ours was $159). We have had it for over a year now and have had NO problems with it at all. We have used other internet phones in the past and had very poor service, so we were a little apprehensive about the quality of service of OOMA. But we have great reception, clear calls, and would definitely recommend it. In fact we have recommended it to several of our friends.
I would recommend this to a friend!

buying a visor mount bluetooth
looking for automobile (visor mounted) bluetooth that can answer and make calls. What words do I look for when searching that indicate the unit can call out as well as receive calls.
This device can make and receive calls.

does this make anything from your phone louder?
hubby uses his phone GPS when he travels and is hard hearing in 1 ear, would this make the voice from the GPS louder? Also does it make any application that has sound louder?
Yes, it has a volume control on the device. But if you raise it too much, it distorts the voice.
