They put the "God" back into Godzilla with this movie. This definitely isn't the abomination by the name of Zilla which came out in 1998 the upset me highly.
If you love Godzilla then this movie is the right one for you. Everything is great about the way they did the king himself and it is absolutely amazing how much detail went into creating him. I just wish he had a little more screen time but I guess we will see more of him in the upcoming sequels.

What's great about it: Superb sound quality, aesthetically pleasing
What's not so great: intermittent wireless sub signal loss, lack of wire for sub, lack of volume level display
I researched this system for quite some time before I decided to purchase it and I was very hesitant due to the price. Once I got it home I put in a few of my favorite movies and was shocked when I heard things in the movie that I didnt even know were there.
My wife was quite upset with me when she saw how much I spent on it but after hearing it she calmed down. She is almost completely deaf in her right ear and hard of hearing in her left and always has a hard time hearing dialogue in most movies and TV shows but with the new Bose sound bar she can hear everyhthing clearly without having to crank the volume up and disturbing the neighbors.
I am having troubles with the wireless sub, though. The signal drops in and out and intermittently and really affects the sound quality. I live in an apartment and all my neighbors have WIFI so Im sure it plays a part in the interference and Ive seen other peoples reviews having the same problem with WIFI. At this price a wired connection for the sub should be included.
The adaptIQ surround system is good but does not give you the real surround sound experience that a complete 5.1 or 7.1 system would deliver. I chose the sound bar because I did not want wires running around, especially in an apartment that I wont be staying in forever.
All in all its a decent product, a few basic things are missing, which at the $1,500 price point, should be includded. The sound quality is superrb and delivers what one would expect from a quality Bose product. I cant wait for Godzilla(2014) to release on Blu-Ray, I bought this Bose specifically for that movie because the puny speakers in my flat screen just wont do the King of the Monsters any justice.

Can soundbar SR1 will work without sub.
Actually i dont want much base. Can my sound bar will work without connecting subwoofer.
It will work without the sub hooked up but you will be missing a lot of audio by doing that, as the bar itself does not produce any bass at all. It truly is amazing how much you dont hear when not using a quality system. There is a volume adjuster on the back of the sub that has to be adjusted manually (cannot be adjusted with remote), I suggest keeping it hooked up and adjust the sub volume to your liking. The sub MUST be hooked up to run the AdaptIQ program.
