What's great about it: Quiet and efficient
What's not so great: Detergent dumps immediately onto clothes
Needed to get a new washer and dryer to replace my 17 Year old GE. I had been considering front load machines for a while but was wary due to the costs. While browsing in the store i came across this washer and was impressed by the price and number of features that it offered. I read some consumer reviews and noticed that most of the negatives came from people that appear to be set in their ways regarding how a clothes washer is supposed to work. I found that by reading the manual and following the instructions listed I was able to get great washing performance.
A couple of things to note:
--HE machines like this will rarely fill with water, that's OK. That's why the cycles are longer. Opening the lid to add water because you think it needs more actually reduces the cleaning power of the machine
--Packing clothes in to the tub is a great way to keep your dirty clothes dirty and the machine unbalanced. Read The Manual it gives lots of tips on loading the washer.
--Don't watch the machine wash your clothes. The cycle takes an hour or more and it is unlike using an agitator machine. The wash action is efficient yet subtle. Looking at the machine do its work is going to be disappointing, most of the wash action takes place at the bottom where you can't see it.
--Use the recommended amounts of detergent and bleach. I accidentally used some non HE detergent and had to re wash the clothes twice to get the residue off. Again Read The Manual.

This washer can hookup or install any sink?
This washer can hook up or install any sink?
There is an option to have this drain to a laundry sink but this washer requires a dedicated water hookup to function
